I would like to do the following; Dawn wash Clay Dawn wash Meguiers Step 1 Paint Cleaner Meguiers Step 2 Polish Zaino base and sealant No Meguiers Step 3 Carnuba. Will the above be ok. Will the Zaino bond to the meguiers polish, or does Meguiers polish leave residue?

SW03ES Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Naa. A dawn wash after the polishing step would be neccisary to make sure there's no fillers. Those consumer grade polishes have all kinds of fillers. Dawn washing between the claying and polishing step isn't neccisary. A good polish for use underneath Zaino is Klasse AIO. You can use AIO and then layer on the Z2 right on top of it.
