lex-o-951 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 I disconnected my negative cable on my 01 IS300 for about 15 mins and when i connected the negative cable and turned on the car my cd changer did not read that there are 6 discs in the changer. Before i had disconnected the battery my #1 disc had a cd stuck and would not eject it and the #3 disc would make a weird noise when ever it would play any cd's. Has this ever happened to anyone or can anyone give me any advise?
bartkat Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Yes, this has happened to lots of people. Usually they have to take the car to Lexus, get the changer replaced and send your unit back to Lexus. When they get the CD's out, they usually send them back to the owner. It's a somewhat common problem with 2001 models. This is the bulletin on that.
