brucelee
I am going to attempt to repair my headlights, which have condensation. Is there any post here that shows how this is done, ie the removal part? I can muck around but it would clearly be better if I saw some photos of removal before I attempted this! Thanks :D
knmaynard
Ok, I'll reply. You probably don't have a response because this has been beaten though to the nth degree, and people typically just ignore posts that are redundant of an issue that has been thoroughly worked through. Do a search, you'll find plenty of threads with various walk-thru's, including links to sites with pictures. Trust me, I did it myself. You'll find others' experiences, pictorials, tutorials, all you could ever know about the notorious leaky headlight or headlight mods. Good luck. I sat there on a bucket in front of my car, gently wiggling it back and forth, trying different angles until it finally came out. I had it out three separate times, and one of the three took me about 10 minutes until I got it right. Comes out right away if you get the angle right, but you can't force it. Forcing it will risk scratching or chipping the surrounding paint.
