92silverls400
I have an odor of gasoline in the interior of my 92 LS400, also in the trunk. I don't know if it was because I had over filled my gas tank twice :cries: Do i have to change the charcoal filter canister? If not, what do i do to get rid of smell. Thanks :)
Shaggz
Yikes! I've never experienced that with my LS, but I did experience that with a Jeep Cherokee I used to have. The reason was the fuel injectors were leaking. You might want to consider having someone diagnose it before it becomes a bigger problem. I would take a fuel smell very seriously. Perhaps you meant to say "missed" the gas tank. For heaven's sake, how do you over fill a gas tank???
95LS400Bob
Check your fuel tank, fuel filter, lines, etc. Something is leaking.
ECUPirate
Recently, the interior of my Concorde suddenly started smelling of gas. It reeked. Then it occured to me that perhaps I had stepped in gas when I was filling it up. Sure enough, my shoes stunk too. The smell lasted for days. That may not be your problem, but it's a thought. 92silverls400
thanks for the informations. I did over fill my gas tank twice. I kept pumping the gas into the tank, and it shot back out because it was full. what a mess. I know, Please don't top off gas when filling.
