I want to know if the item:Lexus 20 pin premium radio plug and new toyotas 2000-2003+ car wiring harness that AUTO TOYS has will fit my 2000 GS 300? My car has the Lexus premium sound system. I'm going to replace the stock unit with a pioneer 4600 head unit.

the 2000 gs still has the 2 connctor 10 pin 6 pin radio connector on 2000 still. the 20 pin connctor didnt start untill 2002. . the 10 pin 6 pin topyota harness will plug into your radio connectors but the wire code is all different for toyota than for lexus. i can send you the correct 2000 gs connectors for free so your harness wont have to be cut so the next owner can throw away the pioneer unit and put the factory back some day without having cut off connectors. it took me 8 hours to reconstruct a gs owners original radio harness who wanted to go back to original and discovered all the factory radio plugs had benn cut off. so i will give you free plugs to prewvent that from happening to your gs. . i will also send the complete color harness chart so you will hook up the proper wires from the pioneer to the lexus adapter connectors i will send. email me at pioneersuby@woh.rr.com for more info. i am a gs wiring harness expert and just got done converting a 2000 pioneer gs to the factory nav system .it was all plug in and play harness so a simple aftermarket conversion is nothing compared to the factory navigation conversion wiring harness. also i can convert your gs factory changer to work with the pioneer p9400 head unit so you can still have your 6 disc glovebox changer.

I took my changer, and stock radio out earlier today and it doesn't seem to have any rca plugs. If I do the conversion, is it going to affect the stock amp, and will I hear a distortion?

there are no oem amps with rca plugs that i know of in any manufacturer. the adapter is going to match up the power and output and input wires so you can use your stock amp and speakers. the cd changer conversion is going to plug into the

pbus cd changer port of your deh- p4600mp headunit. the amp is only 12 inches away from the head unit so hopefully no electical interfence will occur. they do have adapters with rca plugs when you are going to use an aftermartket amp but i dont believe that is necessary with your system. deh means your headunit has an internal amp putting out 22 watts per channnel and those wire will be connected to the input wires of the factory amp. if that causes distortion then you will have to connect the speaker output wires to the lexus amp output speaker wires for a direct connection to the speakers. you would need an aftermarket amp to use your amp output rca plugs on the pioneer unit. then you would need all new speakerrs as they are only rated 20 to 40 watts like most oem radios. . aftermarket amps putting out 200 or more watts would blow the speakers. the aftermarket seller is counting on your to keep coming back for the next addition not stop at a 179.00 headunit.

What a relief to hear that. Thought I had to splice them wires or something. Well, just waiting for all the products to get here. I'll post again after I recieve them and get it hooked up.
