93 Sc400 Plug C/o

Can anybody tell me if it is a simple job to change out the plugs and if it is how do you do it? Just glancing at the engine I don't even see the spark plug wires. Do I need to remove certain engine parts to get to them? Do I also need special tools?

Here's another issue...I called the Lexus dealer to find out what a timing belt change out cost and they claim I also need the valves adjusted at 60K. Does anyone know if this is also needed at 60K?

According to my OEM service manual (1996), the valves only need to be adjust if you have problems

Yeah, the plugs aren't visible unless you remove the upper timing belt covers. No real special tools...just a spark plug socket and a long extension to remove the plugs. The wires are hidden under wire covers that you will have to remove in order to remove the timing belt covers. It really isn't all that hard.
