Managed to hit something on the passenger side that pulled the plastic bumper out a bit and disconnected it from the wheel well liner. Minor damage that I can probably fix myself but not sure how all these parts are supposed to connect. Looked at the other side for clues but also seeing several empty holes that maybe should have fasteners installed. Also even the undamaged drivers side has a surprising amount of looseness when you pull on it at the very bottom just behind the tire.

Can anyone point me to a good video or assembly instructions that show what parts are involved and how they go together?

I found a couple of videos that should help you with the bumper repair on your 2020 Lexus ES 350:

  1. 2020 Lexus ES 350 How to take off the back bumper: This video provides a detailed guide on removing the rear bumper.

  2. Lexus ES350 Rear Bumper Repair: This video shows the repair process for the rear bumper.

These should give you a good visual guide on how the parts connect and what you might be missing.

Yes I did see one of those, it helped a bit but not much detail provided. With flexible plastic parts you can't always determine how much flexing is required to mate parts together until you go too far and something snaps off. With rigid metal parts the interfaces are much easier to figure out.
