Pierre Laforge Posted September 3 Posted September 3 I am 80 years old and my son convinced me to replace my original radio with a 2-Din audio video with a backup camera. I purchase one with backup camera I would love to keep my CD changer (if possible) and wondering if there is a way to plug it into the "RCA auxiliary in (R and L) of my new stereo unit I am also wondering if I can use my original amp connecting to the subwoofer (the new unit also has an RCA plug for the subwoofer) It would be very helpful if I could find a wiring diagram showing the connections in and out from the amp and radio. What kind of harness should I use to complete the connections? Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated
RX400h Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Hello, Pierre, and welcome. I think that before I made such a decision, I'd have called the folks at Crutchfield, com. They sell harness kits and adapter plates for many different vehicles. They may still be able to give you advice.
