D in CT Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Hi, all - I lease the above car. Discovered (via sound of water dripping under the glove box) that the AC Condenser drain hose is blocked, most likely by a spider nest. Passenger side carpet (mostly front, some in rear) is wet to some degree. Took it to the dealer, who said he's seen this before and what's required is a new hose (with some type of filter inside) which will block it from happening again (why wasn't the car built with this?), but they also need to put in new carpeting along with any mold remediation. Could be a 6-7 day job, according to the service guy. He said that insurance will cover the fix. Lexus issued a bulletin (L-SB-0024-21) in July 2021 about this potential problem, but did nothing then to proactively address the problem, which now, of course, seems pretty shortsighted, in view of the current expense and hassle of dealing with the fix. Was wondering if any one else has had a similar problem? Thanks.
