Thatguy4D
I recently bought an LS400, annd it had its airbag light on, my horn doesn’t work, and neither does my cruise control. I went ahead and did some digging, and eventually found out it was because my spiral cable was snapped. My issue comes in trying to find a “new” one, as the 1990-1991 LS400 apparently is different than the 92-1994 cable? Can anyone confirm if they’re different, or can they actually be interchanged? I can’t imagine what possible reason the spiral cable would’ve been changed in the middle of the first gen’s production. Any help is welcome. paulo57509
This is what a dealer parts catalog shows; 90-93 use the same cable. https://parts.lexusofpleasanton.com/p/Lexus_1991_LS-400/CABLE-SUB-ASSEMBLY---SPIRAL/63176033/8430650070.html Part is NLA but at least you have a part number to begin your search.
