'01 Single mystery wire on top passenger side of engine bay

I have a mystery wire that is near the top of the engine around the passenger side. Around the Intake manifold. Unsure if it's a ground wire or something else, just a single wire. Any idea's?

That does not look as if it came from the factory. Is it causing a problem?

My bad, missed this reply! It looks actually like it was tied into the AC speed sensor and has since been uh... removed. I'm going to try to spice in a new connector.
