a/c Compressor Replacement

Anyone has experience in replacing the a/c compressor on a 2002 Lexus RX300?  Mine needs to be replaced and I can get hold of a Denso unit to replace, but wanted to know if this is something can be done DIY or do you need a mechanic to do the job?  I am not a technical person, but can follow directions well.

Hello, Parker. Have you searched for a relevant youtube video. You can also be able to find the section of Factory Service Manual. This is what I do in order to determine if the task is something I can complete in a decent amount of time.
