ceacha Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 I have a 1998 LS400 and would like to buy a set of the five spoke, 2005, 18inch wheels. I know all the things to consider when going to a "plus 2" wheel but would like to know if there are any other impediments. Number of lugs, offset, and what not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
99lsguy Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 I can't tell you the technical specs and such....... but I imagine they will fit = especially if they're Lexus OEM wheels..... Are you selling your old 98 5 spokes?......I need a spare..

99lsguy Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Hey, How's that 2004 Avalon ride compared to the LS........ smoothness, quietness, suspension, etc.... I know it has more interior room.......that Avalon is cavernous!!

I know it has more interior room.......that Avalon is cavernous!! ← The Avalon is a very nice car. It is actually roomier than the LS. It is not as quiet, doesn't have the power, and the finish is just a step below the LS but considering you can get in new one for $30,000 and a new LS is $60,000 you can see why it is so popular.
99lsguy Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 I almost bought an Avalon........ I just didn't like the dash as much - otherwise we probably would have snagged one........
