2007 SC430 ran out of gas and now engine light on

Hello all, my gas gauge indicator is not working like it used to so I ran out of gas when I was supposed to have about 60 more miles. When I ran out of gas and got home from my trip, my check engine light came on along with other indicator lights.  I have heard that it might be because I need to get my fuel injectors, clean… Has anyone else had this issue and what was the resolution?  Thank you.

Go by an auto parts store and ask them to check the code. Buy a soda or an air freshener as a thank you.
