gauge cluster on ls430 won't startup or lightup

the cluster doesn't startup no light or movement of dials

Try disconnecting the battery, waiting a bit, then reconnecting.

If that fails, check all the relevant fuses.

I have basically this same problem. Except the left hand side of my Multi-Informational Display does light up. And I checked the fuse for the MID.

The display buttons on the steering wheel don't do any thing ie miles to empty, etc. doesn't display.
