Rocco Lee Posted June 16, 2023 Share Posted June 16, 2023 Hello. I am a new member here so I hope this is where I can hopefully get some help. I have a 1998 ES300. Every time I use my rear defog, my lights go dim and in a day or 2, I have to jump start my car. I have also noticed that if I have my windshield wipers on and rear defog, my battery gets drained real quick if I’m sitting still. If I never use my rear defog, I never have issues with the battery. Because it sounds like your Alternator, may only be producing enough Voltage to run the vehicle once started. And is not properly charging/supplying voltage to running accessories.
