brandongeorge Posted October 30, 2004 Share Posted October 30, 2004 I have a 1991 LS-400 with 125,000 miles changed oil every 4000 miles. Recently a vibration has started when the car is in drive or reverse but setting still. You can feel the vibration in gear shift and it makes a rattle in the drivers side door. Lexus mechanics not sure but suggesting may be motor mounts. If that is not it will disconnect tourque converter to check. Anyone else experienced this vibration and solved it? jzz30 Posted October 30, 2004 Share Posted October 30, 2004 yea i had vibration up the yin yang. i changed all of the idler bearings and pullies in front of the engine, and all of the suspension and finally the motor and trans mounts and that solved everything. and my car got alot smoother because of the parts change;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
