Lc80- Lx450 Mirrors

Dear LC & LX enthusiasts:

Im thinking to get this mirrors from overseas , but since we are here in the US

(Left hand drive) do you guys think the mirrors will exact fits? :(

I don't read Japanese (and I dont' feel like running it through babelfish for an aproximate translation...), so I'll base my comments on only the pictures I saw.

It should fit for your rig. The exterior shape of the mirror glass is the same between our 80s and theirs. The only thing that I would be concerned about is that our passenger side mirrors are a different shape than our driver's side mirrors -- this is what allows you the wider view in the passenger side mirror (hence the "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" message on the mirror)... In Japan, since they're right-hand-drive, the mirrors are reversed (know what I mean?). You'll have the objects-are-closer-than-they-appear mirror on the drivers side and not the passenger side.

Just my rambling thoughts...

But so far i bought my LX450 stuff from Japan , they speak & understand english

not bad thou.. I know peoples over there do some crazy Sh* Off Roads Too..deep Mud n stuff.. The only one thing they got more stuff available for LC compare to US.

Have you ordered anything from them? Im planning on getting info on mods before i purchase a LC450...just wondering how your experience with them was.
