MAURICE 1942 Posted June 9, 2023 Share Posted June 9, 2023 Florida weather need for AC in 2014 RX350 105,000 miles. Was blowing cold before but after engine off, short or long, now only hot ??? Sometimes after driving awhile, cold air returns. And, also returns after engine off then on again. Coincidence that parked in outside temp >80 = no AC... interior fans always working. Local dealer asked to determine and result . . . diagnosis = replace engine fans even though "my" advice was ambient temp had something to do with switching AC to cold air need. That was a $2200. repair after six hours parked in the sun proved wrong and now, again returned to dealer, brings a diagnosis for a new $1800. Condenser for a SSA senior new to this blog. I am searching for anyone who has experienced my AC issues and your repair resolution. I appreciate your time and advice. Thanks to all for reading request.
