Since I am in the market for a new/used car, I have been browsing the IIHS safety site again. I thought that some Lexus owners here would like to know that they had safe cars (as if they did not already know that). :D Seems like most cars now have this high rating, but that was not always the case.

I think these tests are great, because the crash performance of cars has drastically improved since these tests began in 1995. I remember when the 93 Lexus GS only got an average rating from the NHTSA full frontal crash rating when it first debuted, but this car was not tested by the IIHS.
