MikeP
Can someone tell me where to look to find the color code for my '04 LS430? The color is Mercury, but I assume there is also a code number. I looked under the hood at the stickers and on the B pillar where the build date is located and I don't see anything labled color code. Maybe I'm looking right at it and can't "see" it. I did a "Google" search for 'automotive paint color codes" and found a website that showed the location and the code itself. For "Mercury", the code is 1F2, and is located at the bottom of the sticker on which the build date is listed (on the base id the B pillar). The lable says "C/TR 1F2/xxxxxx", I assume for color and trim. Mike

MikeP
Do you have a chip in the paint?? ← I do have a chip, but luckily it's in a pretty unnoticable place. It's on the lower part of the plastic rocker panel and pretty small. I first thought it was a spot of tar, but then realized it was a chip. Sometimes I don't even see it when I look for it. I was going to order a "paint pen", but needed my color code. I have decided to wait until I have more places that need touchup paint before I order. Touchup paint has always dried up pretty fast after I bought some and I don't plan on needing to fix additional spots anytime soon Mike
