lincolntran
Hi, I'm John. :D I just got a 1990 ls400. The engine is working fine, but I have a few problems with all the power options. All of the interior lights are not on whatsoever. I haven't have time to check the fuses yet, but I'll do it first. The rear tail lights are not on either (new bulbs). The light on the shift knob to show R N D ... is not on either (not the one on the odometer, it's the one between 2 front seats). The background light of the radio and air conditioner are also not on. When I try to lock the door, only one driver door got lock, the power door lock from inside is also not working. Can some one please help me out with this. It's kind of sad for the ls400 without any power option. :o thanks a lot. John
90LS400Lexus
Hello and welcome. Exactly what lighting is not working? Dash lights as well? It NOTHING is working, it sounds like a major fuse to me. The background lighting for the HVAC controls is not uncommon on these cars. My 90 had about 1/2 that was not working. What is the mileage on your car?
lincolntran
thanks for your reply. You're right. It was a major fuse problem. I replaced all the fuses and everything was back to normal.
