2003 Tire Options

Hi folks.  Newbie here- picking up my 2003 470 in a week, and needing new tires. I've done a search for this issue but not found specific input to this. 

The 470 is coming with the stock 18 inch rims, and I find that the recommended tire size of 275/60 18 is not widely available. My question is- what other tire sizes would fit my stock rims, without requiring any modifications to my 470? Thanks for any insights.

According to tirerack.com, the alternate size for your vehicle is 285/60/18. See:

Thanks Dave.  I don't know how I missed that on the Tire Rack site.  Lot more choices in that size.

Yes, I did see that the OEM size had few options. The 285 size is 0.46-inch larger in diameter, which may mean that your speedometer readings will be a small bit lower that actual speed.
