GS3.0
Hi guys, Im kinda new to this forum as im a proud new owner of a 1999 GS300. I installed a pair of 8000K HID D2R bulbs recently but noticed that the automatic self-leveling light on the dash is on after i had them installed. Has anyone had this problem and if this is something that needs to be done by the Lexus dealership? I called the dealer and they said that they probably have to adjust it and quoted me some ridiculous amount to have them done. I would greatly appreciate some feedback! On a side note, i just bought a set of Bilstein Sports and Tanabe NF210 springs. The springs lower the car 1.5" (front) and 1.0" (rear). Im gonna wait till next spring to install these but Im debating whether this is a low enough setup as i don't have the $$$ to go to a coil-over setup at the moment. I have another set of Tanabe GF210 which lower the car 1.8" (front) and 1.3" (rear) and was thinking of using these instead of the NF210's. I want a low enough stance w/o the nasty fender gap, but scared i might be rubbing if i get 19" rims. I could live with a harsher ride than stock b/c im looking for a more performance oriented feel. Could i get some feedback! Cheers GS3.
Neo
Sorry. I don't have something to add about the auto-level, As for the wheels, the fact that they are 19s will not cause them to rub. The width (x8, x8.5, x9, ...) and the offset will determine rubbing or not. Tire size is also a factor.

GS3.0
I really appreciate your help guys. I've been hearing that its not good to use aftermarket replacement HID bulbs higher than 6000K? Is this an urban myth or fact? Im going to bring my car to dealer later this week, im just hoping its nothing major (fingers crossed). Other than the reduced light output and color difference, it should not harm the system.
