LexAce
Hi all - My 05 RX330 has the auxilary AV input in the back. I bought the cable to enable the ipod to play through it but can only hear it in the wireless headphones. ((tangent:how cool is a car that comes with branded, wireless headphones??)) I assume that because the DVD can play through the car's speaker system that the aux AV system should too. Am I correct or is Lexus protecting drivers from the sound effects of Halo? I tried the "source" button on the DVD remote but wasn't successful. The manual is no help. What am I missing? Thanks!

It is a "feature". I've emailed Lexus tech support, and the system was never designed to support audio out into the main cabin speakers for the AUX audio inputs. The Toyota Sieanna which shares the same system, also has this "feature".
