  1. My '05 RX330 came fully equipped. Is it possible to override the safety features that prevent navigation while driving and bluetooth hands-free phone while driving? What's the point of hands-free while sitting on the side of the road? We leased the car so I don' t want to make any permanent changes. If these overrides are possible, can the "switch" be flipped back before we return it? Thanks!
  2. There is NO solution. It is a "feature". I've emailed Lexus tech support, and the system was never designed to support audio out into the main cabin speakers for the AUX audio inputs. The Toyota Sieanna which shares the same system, also has this "feature". ← Well that's lousy! Thanks so much! That'd be so cool, to listen to MP3s in the car!
  3. 88 people have read this but nobody has a thought on how to solve it? :cries: Surely someone's got an idea!
  4. Hi all - My 05 RX330 has the auxilary AV input in the back. I bought the cable to enable the ipod to play through it but can only hear it in the wireless headphones. ((tangent:how cool is a car that comes with branded, wireless headphones??)) I assume that because the DVD can play through the car's speaker system that the aux AV system should too. Am I correct or is Lexus protecting drivers from the sound effects of Halo? I tried the "source" button on the DVD remote but wasn't successful. The manual is no help. What am I missing? Thanks!
  5. Yep.. my 05 330 has it. Just have to get a Bluetooth phone now! But one of the other posts says you can only dial when you're not moving, just like the nav. Not sure because I haven't tried it yet.
