2017 RX 350 water pump

Please advise if anyone has recently replaced a water pump on a 2017 RX350.  We were told it could take 12 hours and be very expensive.  The car has 100k miles on it, and received every routine service.  Just want to be certain that we are not being fed a line.  Thank you for any input!

I suggest you also get an estimate from a nearby Toyota dealership. They are often less expensive.
