Hello,

I have an is lexus 350 2009. I lost the key for my IS lexus and it has been parked for 8 months now. I finally got the remote key; however, the vehicle is not connecting to the machine to have the key connected to the car. I made sure to charge my battery and had an electrician check the vehicle to see if there are any shortages anywhere. I'm not sure if I'm missing anything. Do you guys have any suggestions? anything i should try as I'm lost.

The vehicle got into an accident 2 years before and i did not fix the sensors for parking etc. the vehicle has been running smoothly and have not had any issues. I'm a female and no one has figured out the problem as yet. I've gotten a locksmith; however, their key has not been able to work with the car as well.

Looking forward to your response. Thanks for the advice in advance.

Kind regards,

AlexisAnn

Hello, AlexisAnn.

About a year ago, I had an automotive Locksmith create a key and synchronized a new key fob to my 2008 Mazda Miata.
He didn't have any problem in doing so.

I suggest that you call another locksmith and explain the details. They typically prefer to supply everything and not work with existing fobs, as some are not compatible. Unfortunately, auto Locksmiths charge quite a bit for this type of service.
