MNJack Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 When I replace my headlight bulbs (H-7) I am always careful not to touch the bulb with my fingers!! I do leave my headlights on all the time dayor night, but they only seem to last about 3 months. Pain in the butt!! How long do yours last? (97 ES300). They seemed to last much longer (of course) when car was under warranty!!
steviej Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Are you installing no-name brand bulbs or ebay bulbs? Are both bulbs going or just one bulb? If it is just one bulb, is it always the same side that is blowing? I'm thinking you might have a problems with the relay and it may be creating a surge that blows the bulb. I have a pair of PIAA Xtreme Whites (9005) that are going on 2 years and PIAA crystal ions fogs going on 18 months. They are always on. steviej
lexusk8 Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 My PIAA Xtreme Whites for the low beams (H7 type) have lasted about 15 months so far in my '01 ES, and they still remain white and bright like they were on the 1st day of install :)
