godanielgo Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 how are you doing guys.. my car's CD player doesn't work , since i bought it 2 weeks ago... it has a 6 CD changer, as long as i put the case into the CD player i sounds like it automatically reading those CD, but after 1 or 2 minutes, the display shows me that ERR 1....i have no idea what's wrong with the CD PLAYER.. could you guys give me some suggestions? Thank you very much :cries:
amf1932 Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 It could simply be dirt on the laser lens. The first thing I would try is a laser lens cleaning disc. They're sold all over for a few bucks. ;)

amf1932 Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 The cleaning disc has little brushes mounted on the disc that wipes off dust or dirt that might have accumulated on the laser lens. ;)
