J MAC Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Every time I buy a new car, it seems as if the same car tends to come out of the woodwork...and you see it everywhere...After driving the S500 and the 740i, I bought the LS430...It cost less, it was smoother and more quiet, just as fast, handeled just as well and was more dependable...It was an easy decision...I figured that there would be a lot more of them on the road...Do that many people pay more $$$$ for prestigious names or are there just not a whole lot of 430's around ....
SW03ES Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Actaully believe it or not they sell more LS430s, its possible its different in your area...
songbird58 Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 I_have_a_2002_Maroon_LS430_and_I_LOVE_it__Before_that__owned_a_2000_ES300__there_is_no_comparison___it_was_worth_the_upgrade__I__m_live_in_Ohio_and_I_see_quite_a_few_430__s_in_the_area.
SW03ES Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 songbird, no question its a fantastic car. I'll get one when my lease on the ES is up, by then the all new 06 will have been out for a year, perfect!
J MAC Posted May 31, 2003 Author Posted May 31, 2003 Still havn't seen that many on the road...only a gold one...Ran it on the track one or two times and got it up to 130...It runs like a top but the brakes are a little too sensitive in stop and go traffic...is that normal...
SW03ES Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 Is this your first Lexus? I find that the brake pedals are a little lighter than other vehicles, you do get 100% used to it though.
ericm007 Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 Where in ATL do you live?? I see a few of them, the same people always driving them, but I hardly ever leave my little circle of the city. I went from a 2000 S500 to this LS430, a HUGE change! I've decided that the LS430 is better for people riding in the car, than it is for the driver. I do have to admit however, that the fit and finish is 100 times better than my S. Have you had any problems with yours??
