Computer reset

Recommended Posts

Hi there! So recently my Lexus RX350 2010 evaporator broke so I went to a shop to get it fixed. The whole dash had to be removed and for some reason that meant that the computer had to be reset. However, now my parking sensors aren’t working and I can’t turn them on. They were literally erased from the menu. My auto lights aren’t working and the smart key system stopped working as well. So my question for you guys is, how serious is this? Could it be fixed by simply resetting the computer again? Clearly I am fully expecting the mechanic to take care of it since everything was working fine until he worked on my RX, however I am worried that the problems he inflected are more serious than they might seem and because of that, I might have to take legal measures to get them to fix all that, which is ultimately what I would like to avoid.

My first guess would be that a wiring harness was not reconnected, but they should also check for blown fuses.

You are correct in that they are almost certainly fully responsible.
