MrSatanicHimself Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I have a 1990 LS400, the car is being wierd lately. I was driving the other day and was at a red light and when the light turned green, I pushed on the gas and it just died. The car wouldnt restart! I had the car towed to my home and later on that day I went out to fiddle with the car and the damn thing started right up. My cousin drove the car to work the other day and got about 8 miles from the house and it died again. He parked it at a local store and we went back that night and low and behold, the car started right up. This is wierd to me. Does anyone have any idea as to what the hell is wrong with this car! Please advise, MrSatanicHimself Plano,Texas
steviej Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 I am guessing a lazy fuel pump or a fuel pressure regulator problem. I will move this to the LS forum as they may have more specific experience. steviej
jlmoreno911 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Just incase you haven't fixed it... My guess would be a faulty fuel pump and dirty fuel filter...
99lsguy Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 loose, bad, or worn connection on the alternator????
