jgoodman
Hi all, Im trying to set the maintenance records on the maintenance page of the in-dash system in my 2001 RX300. But it seems to think its 2005 or something, because if I try and enter an oil-change date (for example) of Nov 10, 2004 (just to prove the point), I get a message saying "Date has already passed" and I cant get any further. Is there a way to program the correct date into the RX 300 in-dash system? thanks! PS:No, Im not talking about the LED clock :)
wolfie212003
Maintenance page? Is this standard on all RX300's or is it available only on those with a navigation system? I have a 2002 RX300. Thanks.
jgoodman
I dont know, as this is the only RX Ive ever had. But to access it, i think you push the "INFO" button on the right (under the screen), and then the Maintenance button...(I think?)
jbarhorst2
Only the ones with Navigation.

jbarhorst2
Well......... I thought I could look it up in the Navigation Supplement Manual, but that bit of info is not in there. I wonder if you have to go to the dealer to get it properly set by their computer??? I can check with them if you want. Tom

jgoodman
hi, did you ever get any reply on this? thanks!
jbarhorst2
Sorry, not yet. He must be on vacation or something. I'll definitely post something as soon as I hear. Tom
jbarhorst2
I got a message from my salesman. He was up in Canada taking a tour of the RX330 plant. He said it was rather impressive. Anyway, the message he left did not answer the question because he misunderstood what I was asking. I'll call him on Monday. Tom
jbarhorst2
I finally was able to talk to my guy at the dealership (our schedules were not meshing well) and found out some interesting info. Apparently the date is set from the satellite link in the GPS system. On some other models the time is set by the downlink as well. It is automatic. Hope that helps.
