I’ve replaced my factory subwoofer with a kicker comp cs I’m having trouble though getting the factory sub cut out of that bracket that holds the sub down is there another way I can go about getting it done I thought about just drilling a couple of holes and just putting the sub in and !Removed! it down like that would that alter the sound/bass or would that be good ? Also is there another way I can add a lil more kick to it without getting a new amp? The sub I got is a 4 ohm with power handling 200 watts RMS with peak power 400 I’ll attach a link to the website I got it off of https://www.crutchfield.com/p_206CWCS84/Kicker-44CWCS84.html?omnews=18249852

Did you get to talk with the Crutchfield folks? They are typically very knowledgeable about their products and installation specifics.
