Qafas Posted September 6, 2004 Share Posted September 6, 2004 Hi Everyone, I am looking to replace the front rotors and pads on my 91 LS400, and am looking for suggestions on where to buy them from. I've read through many posts and it seems that there are many choices out there. My budget is around $250 for the whole thing. If you have bought new rotors and/or pads in the recent past, I'ld appreciate it if you could share where you bought the items from and how you feel about the performance. tansupplyman Posted September 6, 2004 Share Posted September 6, 2004 Would suggest OEM on pads(buy at Toyota, also price at irontoad.com ); maybe NAPA on rotors due to cost--smooth only--none of the fancy drilled and scored stuff. If you are "racing" that thing, then look at other threads and maybe Lextreme site. One thing no one talks about is 'dusting'--generally OEM anything do not dust; buy a $19.95 set at Advance and see what happens--black wheels most of the time. MetalMasters will eat up rotors.
