Those condensors appear to be pricey ($1000). Have you thought of adding a stainless-steel screen to block small stones from damaging it?

Typically, if some of the fins are bent, that alone should not cause the AC to malfunction.

The dealer quoted $2600. We only had the vehicle for 3 months and went to use the a/c a few days ago and it didn’t work.  This is a very costly repair so we will look into some kind of shield.  We don’t feel confident that the a/c was working when we picked it up at dealership. They said it was punctured by a stone so it considered wear and tear and not covered by warranty. Thanks
