rss67
Hello! I am getting ready to tow a trailer that has electric brakes, my GX came with the electric brake adapter in the glove box, does anyone know where this connector attaches to? I looked in the owners manual and it points to look under the dash on the drivers side. I looked under the dash and I do not see any place where the connector can attach. Can someone help me find it or describe where I may find it. Thank you.
Reggie
It is there, just atttached to another wiring harness and located above it. It took me about two hours on my back to finally discover it. Once there, the harness connected to the electric brake control without any problems. I've been towing a two-horse trailer (horses included) twice a week for the past month. Great around the farm and two lane destinations at 55 mph, but a bit strained on the interstate at 65-75 mph - a lot of downshifting. I bought the GX to replace two vehicles - a commuter BMW, and a horse hauler Suburban 454. Time will tell whether I made a good decision. rss67
Thanks, Reggie ! It took me about an hour, but I was finally able to locate the adapter, it was taped to the top of a set of wires. Thanks!
