nicksan
My 2001 ES has factory Chrome Rims. I noticed that the inside is starting to rust/peel. Body shop told me it happens almost all the time...no way you can prevent it. It's only on the inside, but if you look closely you can see through the spokes. Anyways, I was wondering if there were any preventative measures I can take to slow this process down. I really like the chromes...shiny especially at night! tundra-lover
You could have it cleaned off, and clear coat it? The probelm is that the clear just comes off after a while. I would just clean it off, and wax it if it bothers you. For the winter you can take them off to keep the salt off them, or use a rag with some protective coating like WD-40, just don't get it on your rotors.
