Evje
Does anyone know of a shop/person that can repair the rotating gas-filled needles on my '93 ES300 instrument panel? The engine temp, tach, and MPH guage needles are shot and are no longer red. The fuel guage is still AOK. The local Lexus dealer wants $500 to ship it off to a repairman and the car would be out of service for 3-5 days. They said a new instrument panel is $1000. I would buy a used one, but the odometer mileage record is stored on a chip on the instrument panel and a swap would mean a mis-reading odometer. I live 50 miles north of San Francisco - a repair in LA would be OK.
creamyy
i posted a similar situation yesterday. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...howtopic=11888& seems to be a problem with the older es300's.
