xjr1 Posted July 15, 2004 Share Posted July 15, 2004 Ok, I start car, push ac AUTO button(green light ON) and air blows hot(temperature setting is all the way down)..Then I will push the smaller a/c button (green light ON)(next to HI fan Button), the AUTO button green light will turn off and the a/c will blow nice and cold ...Cant get the AUTO and AC buttons green lights to stay on at the same time when AUTO is engaged...PLEASE HELP, THANKS.. VMF Posted July 16, 2004 Share Posted July 16, 2004 as far as ur AC blows hot air i dont think this is such a big of an issue. might be that one chip in the climate control cirquit is partially burned thus not providing normal output from the sensors to the chip that is responsible on turning the AC on or off in the auto mode. the most im portnat thing is that AC works. you should not worry bout those lil things on a 13 year old car. if it really bothers you, you might get a new climate control unit on ebay or on a junk yard.
