97 Es300 Remote Compatiable

i was searching through ebay and found a Lexus es 300 keyless entry remote it has "unlock, lock, trunk, and a panic button" on the back and it has the FCC ID and i was wondering if any of you guys have this and will it work for my car....i recently got this car this week so i'm a newbie to this forum ^_^

Yes, i have a 1997 es 300 and it came with a keyless entry with those 4 buttons. I luv it!

awesome i could get one off ebay but then i don't know how to reprogram it? i was told that the lexus dealership will do it for free, is this true? <_<
