epper Posted July 12, 2004 Share Posted July 12, 2004 My 2001 RX300 has just passed 10,000 miles. Occasionally at slow sppeds when I apply the brakes, i get a slight "sqweek" or "squell". Anyone had this problem at this low mileage? My service advisor tells me that some brake linings have been defective and will be replaced under the warranty. bluestu Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 That's annoying, isn't it!!! I had my brake pads replaced and they squealed for a while until the pads wore down a bit.
