Dennis Posted July 9, 2004 Share Posted July 9, 2004 My '93 GS300 has a new noise... sounds like a mild grinding or dry bearing squeek under the hood. Stops when I turn the A/C off. Starts when I turn it on. I assume there is a belt-driven compressor that could be about to fail and make sounds like this, but have not much mechanical knowledge.
