jim12smith
After a 3 hour drive in very humid weather with the air conditioner on automatic, I was displeased to find about 1/2 inch of water in the passenger side floor. The water finally spread to the driver's side and to the rear floor. No rain, no car wash just water on the floor. I took it to my local dealer. They checked and unstopped the drains from the roof and checked the air conditioner drain which was not blocked. The service person was unable to explain how the roof drain could channel water to the floor while the air conditioner drain was open - especially as I had not been driving in any rain. Seemed like a mystery to them as well as to me. Anyone have a similiar problem and (I hope) and explanation? I would like to prevent a reoccurance but have no idea where to start. itmdtr
If the AC drain is not blocked with debris, did they pull up the carpet a little to see if the drain was still attached to the heater box.
