2008 GX 470 Only blows cold air when temp is at LO. 1 degree higher and it blows HOT air.

I have a 2008 Lexus GX 470. Gifted from my father in-law. The car only blows cold air then the auto temp is set to LO. Adjust temp up 1 degree and it then blows HOT air. He did have the dash replaced some time back so not sure if something happened then. Now in winter.....units blows hot sometimes and cold sometimes. HELP

You might want to have the coolant flushed/replaced. Sometimes an air bubble will slow down or stop coolant circulation.
