Sc 400 Pulleys And 3" Midpipe

Hello,

Ive been doing the whole mod buisness to my 1995 SC and find that short of revamping the engine or adding turbo/supercharger kit (which i wont do), all i want to do is to finish off my exhaust system with a midpipe/X-pipe and also install underdrive pulleys. Of course if i had a sc 300 id already have the unorthodox ultra ss pulleys and a borla 3" mid--- so my question is WHERE CAN I FIND IT AND/OR FIND SIMILAR INTERCHANGABLE PARTS!!

Don't know. Google it. The Australians have been tweaking the 1uz's for a while. Good luck. You can post up here what you find. I think I linked some of that stuff in the faq. Give it a shot.

I know ive been google'ing for awhile. Unorthodox said to wait till they start workin on v-8's (if they ever) and in the meantime try to find a machine shop that could custom build it (if they ever). As for the 3" downpipe...? --forgettaboutit-- Only ones ive heard of were custom built too (for turbo kits)

Jeff, typically the term downpipe is reserved for turbo motors. Your na has a exhaust manifold, merge collector, catalytic converters, and mufflers. Take an adequate size quality piece of pipe and have it placed where the cats are and you will see a benefit I think. Probably not too much but some. You could try an x pipe with a decent merge for scavenging - I think Lextreme recommends a few.
