Help: Inner Tie Rod Removal Tool

Could someone tell me the cowfoot tool size to removal the inner tie rod? Does

anyone has the procedure from the service manual? The information below is

from Lexus/Toyota steering housing overhaul tool set. I know one of the tools

is a 34 mm crowfoot wrench.

i nwent out and bought a big monkey wrench. like a 1 and 1/2 inch one that will fit about right. 1 inch is 25.4mm +1/2 which is 12.7= 38.1 so that fits right? well i used it and get a good wrench. because cheap ones go off on the setting when you give it touque

Thanks jzz30! I thought about the exact same thing, but I did not want to possible

damage the nut. I did find a service metric wrench 15-piece set for $50 at overstock.com. Plus I purchase a thin beak jaw adjustable wrench and plastic jaw

covers at Sears.

On the Website I use for my 300ZX nissan, they have a on-line motor/shop manual. I dont know who or how, but maybe someone can put an on-line LS400 manual on this site. I will try to find out how its done. HOpe the management reads this ( Just what they need ,,,more work!)
