Best I can figure is that it has to do with the navigation, whereas the other OEM head units were without. I'm trying to wrap my brain around how to get past this issue and came up with either changing out the wiring harness to the harness that would allow the Tesla Style head unit to connect or rerouting the pins on the connectors to match up. Haven't given much thought to it other than getting the model number of my OEM and the model number of an acceptable OEM. The next step is to identify the pins on each OEM version for mapping the reroute. All hands on deck if I'm walking the plank here! Need someone to reel me back in if I'm off course.
