  1. Big thanks to Bill and others for the great tip to fix the stuck ignition on my 2000 RX300. It is a piece of cake to fix this stupid Lexus design flaw by follow Bill's instruction. I did that this morning and it works great. Again, big thank to Bill and others that contributed to this thread.
  2. Hi Lenore. My 03 ES300 is about 120K miles and the manual recommends to replace spark plugs at 120K miles. You are right. The rear plugs are very challenge as compared to the front ones. Since you have already done the job can you give me some tips to remove the three rear plugs; like what parts I should remove and any special tools are needed? Thanks in advance for your help. Nghia
  3. WWest..Thank you so much for your advice. My Lexus just developed thesame problem today. Other windows work except the Driver's...What was the problem and how was it fixed.... My RX300 (2000) had intermittent problem on the front passenger side. It came up and down intermittently using either power switches (passenger/driver sides). After several tries even removed the window motor, I found that the problem was the power switch on the passenger side. i went to a Junk yard bought one for $50 and the problem was fixed.
  4. Hi Bryan, Please send me a copy. My email is nghiaho58@yahoo.com. Thanks much. Nghia
  5. Thanks Lenore, Yes, I removed the little plastic cover right behind the door handle and removed the screw. I also tried to pop loose the wood alike panel at the switches but it did not come off. I was afraid to break it. You are right, there must be at least one screw hidden somewhere near the door handle but I could not find it. I can lift whole door panel up (after removed all visible screws and rivets) slightly but can not pull it off the door frame. I tried few times this morning and gave up before I loose my temper to break the whole thing :( Nghia
  6. what is emule? anyway what i need incase i cant get a repair manual, is to really know how to change the two belts step by step? pictures would help. i really dont know any of this, thats why a manual would help. but im not sure where to upload it to. thanks again. The belts are not as easy to change as one might expect. Also the belts last a long time. I have almost 120K on mine and they show no sign of needing a change yet. The best way to get this info is to use the search function on this forum. Here is a link to what you want: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...442&hl=belt If you still want the repair manual, I think I have found a way. You have to supply your email address. If you are not comfortable doing this you can create a temporary one at yahoo or any free email site. You can use the PM (private message) function of this site if you don't want to put your address in a post. I will upload the file to a site called www.yousendit.net. They will email you a link to download it. I haven't used this service yet but it looks good and is free for files under 100M. Hi Mike, Here is my email (hyxa@yahoo.com). Can I have the manual too. Thanks, Nghia ho
  7. Hi Doug, Did you get your problem resolve? I have the same problem and would like to have any tips to fix it. Thanks, Nghia Ho (nghiaho58@yahoo.com)
  8. Hi, I need help. My 00 RX300 passemger window works intermittenly. It rolls down but takes several push/pull on the switch to get it roll up. Do you have any idea what causes that? I tried to remove the door panel but I can not pull it off the door frame. All screws and plastic rivets on the door panel were removed. It seems like the panel got stuck to the door at the door handle on the panel. I checked around the panel but did not see anything that could be removed to unlatch the panel off the door frame. Please help. Thanks in advance for your help. Nghia Ho
